Current Obsession: OIL OBSESSED from bareMinerals

You may or may not know that it has taken me a VERY long time to get my skin clear and to be comfortable in it.  My skin is combination, dry and oily, and can be fairly sensitive to changes in products. A couple years ago I had a bad bout with breakouts from stress and being unhealthy. This caused me to use a lot of makeup to feel confident, but it also meant taking off the makeup, which is annoying, and I hadn’t found a remover I liked.  Lauretta and Decadence Day Spa in Lancaster (she literally made my skin what it is now) used a cleansing oil during one of my monthly facials, and I must admit, I bought it mainly because I liked the smell.  Well turns out cleansing oils are amazing make up removers! The idea behind the oils is that oil attracts….you guessed it! DIRT.  Not only dissolving make up but pulling and attracting dirt from your pores. The first oil I tried was from Eminence, which is an awesome, but pricey skincare line from Hungary that is all plant based. While I loved my Eminence oil, it was a bit pricey and hard to get my hands on.  Enter bareMinerals OIL OBSESSED.  And yes, I am OBSESSED. The smell is amazing and it removes my makeup better than the eminence; dissolving it almost instantly. With cleansing oils this can double not only as a remover but also as a cleanser, but like I said my skin is difficult and not a huge fan of change, so I always follow with a mild exfoliant. What I love about my new oil is that it is easily accessible (Ulta), reasonable priced at $30, and has less ingredients than a lot of the other oils I looked into when searching for an Eminence alternative.  If you are in the market for a new makeup remover option, or maybe you are just super curious about how slathering and incredibly fresh scented oil on your face feels, check it out!
